2015 winner: Xiao

The 2015 winner, Xiao, created the incredible ‘animals in stag’ design, winning the inaugural StaaG Award for Aesthetic Excellence; a cash prize and a limited edition production run of 100 of her design. Xiao hand drew the animals you can see within this stag outline and then used traditionally modern methods to create the design itself and the print application. Her method and application is inspiring and easily won over the judges by really delving into the meaning of the brief.
